Terms and Conditions of Trading
All plants remain the property of the vendor until paid for in full.
Complaints must be made within 24 hours of collection/delivery and confirmed
in writing within 3 days.
We reserve the right to charge 35% of the value of plants ordered or reserved
but not shipped.
We make every effort to ensure that all varieties are true to name but
mistakes are made.
Our aim is to ship good quality plants by the best route possible with
the appropriate documentation as and when required.
We cannot be held responsible for the plants after the time of dispatch.
The size of plant we normally ship is a rooted cutting that has been grown
on for at least a growing season. The plants are grown in 8 cm pots but
may have to have the soil removed and the plants washed before dispatch
depending on the conditions set down by the importing country. The size
may vary with the variety and amount of roots lost during any cleaning
operations.
Plants are normally supplied in multiples of 25 per variety and a total
order of not less than 250 plants. We will accept an order for 10 plants
per variety but there will be a surcharge of 25% on the cost of the plants.
The cost of shipping and phytosanitary inspections will be added at cost.
For large orders we will either share or pay these costs by prior arrangement.
The shipping method will be agreed with the customer prior to dispatch.
The Customer will be responsible for ensuring that we have been made aware
of all the relevant import requirements.
Payment will be due before shipment but after plant health inspection.
We are very willing to grow plants to order and will be pleased to discuss
your individual requirements.
We look forward to your enquiry.
Time of Shipping: From long experience we now prefer to ship so that the
plants arrive at the buyers premises in late spring or early summer especially
if the plants have been washed free of soil. This minimises the chance
of decay in cold damp soil.
Price. The price of plants for those marked with an A on the availability
list is 85 pence and for those unmarked it is 80 pence. Some varieties
are individually priced which are shown. Plants which have to be bare
rooted and washed for shipment abroad will cost an additional 25 pence
per plant.
